You can download your driving licence in PDF format using two official methods. Follow the steps below to access and save your digital licence.

Download Driving Licence from Sarathi Parivahan Service Portal

The Sarathi Parivahan portal is an official Government of India platform that provides a wide range of driving licence and transport-related services. To download a copy of your driving licence, follow the steps below:

Visit to official Sarathi Parivahan Service portal parivahan.gov.in.
Choose the State from list.
Click on “Online Service” option then Driving Licence.

Choose the DL Services / Print Driving Licence.

Verify the captcha code and submit the details.
Your driving licence details will be displayed on the screen.
Click on Download or Print option.

Driving License Download from DigiLocker

DigiLocker Portal is the Government of India’s official digital document platform, where you can securely store and access important documents such as your driving licence, Aadhaar card, and PAN card. The digital driving licence available through DigiLocker is legally valid and accepted across India.

Go to DigiLocker website or mobile app digilocker.gov.in.
Sign in with your registered mobile number and complete the OTP verification. If you don’t have an account yet, create it.
Click on “Search Documents” or “Issued Documents” option.
Open the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways from list. Click on Driving Licence.

Add your Driving Licence Number and other details.
Click on “Submit” and get information of your licence.
Once verified, your driving licence will appear in your DigiLocker account.
You can download the PDF file.

Download and install the mParivahan app from the Google Play Store.
Login with your registered mobile number. verify the OTP code.
Click on “DL Services” or “Add Driving Licence” option.
Enter your Driving Licence Number and information.

Submit your information to view your licence details.
Once verified, your Digital Driving Licence (DL) will be visible in the app.
